About Me

My name is Kara and I offer award-winning advertising and marketing for a fraction of the cost! I can find inspiration anywhere, thrive on solving problems, enjoy being outdoors and welcome a creative challenge!

My creative career began at Purdue University where I studied graphic design and photography. During my time at school, I worked in Purdue's in-house advertising department and traveled the world studying overseas via "Semester at Sea".

Soon after graduation I made the move to Charlotte, where I fell in love with advertising. I began working as an Art Director at Ginger Griffin Marketing and Design, striving to earn agency recognition, creative awards and, most importantly, happy clients. After 5 years with GGMD, I left to experience life with a larger agency and joined Corder Philips. After 6 years in the agency world, I decided to take the leap and fulfill my dream of opening up my own design shop.

I am thrilled and am able to offer award-winning design for a fraction of the cost—and none of the fuss. I have eliminated all overhead and middlemen and left the ego at the door.

My studio specializes in branding and identity for businesses large and small. I can also create budget-friendly websites, brochures, photography and full advertising campaigns. Whatever the need, I would love to assist you.
